Our Story
When I think of going home, I envision the road to my grandfather’s farm, followed by laughter and conversations on his porch with friends and family. Those visits were when I felt most content. It wasn’t about wealth or material things; rather, it was the belief that true happiness stems from relationships—with friends, family, and our Creator.
At Contentment, we prioritize this guiding philosophy. Our club was created to foster a true feeling of contentment. Think of Contentment as coming home to family where everyone belongs, no one is perfect, and all are loved and welcome.
Contentment consists of almost 800 acres of farmland tucked into a valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and serves as a memorial to the spirit of Richard and Thelma Sidden. It's an environment where relationships are the focal point. Where family and friends can gather, relax, and retreat to a peaceful natural setting, spending time with friends and family, and we hope our members will find their own contentment.
